Community-oriented solar solutions ensure the associated financial and environmental benefits of solar are extended to low to moderate-income (LMI) households. The VEIC Consult tool aims to help neighbors, organizations, and businesses explore some of the community-oriented solar solutions that might be possible to implement within the Texas Competitive Energy Market (CEM).
In order to match you with a solar model, or type of solar project, for you to consider pursuing, the VEIC Consult tool asks a short series of questions to understand your goals and motivation for bringing solar to your community as well as any unique circumstances and constraints you may have.
As a reminder, the Consult tool results should only be considered as a starting point on your solar journey. The Learn section provides you with more background information that will help you to better understand the solar landscape in Texas and what the respective models offer.
